Migration of a flightless bird

Migration of the flightless bird

I’m getting out of this town

I won’t be looking back

This compass spins
 Around

I won’t be looking  back

Over these hills and far away

I will catch you another day

And I’m getting out of this town

I shall send you postcards and pictures on my way

And I’d fly south
 But you clipped my wings

Along time ago

So I will walk south to

find my heart and soul

I’m getting out of this town

Your memories won’t haunt me now

I’m sick and tired of your tales
 I won’t be coming back

Because over my shoulder
s Lays the past

There’s a jigsaw I couldn’t fix

And I don’t see how I’m part
Of your Life

you and your one card trick

And I’d fly south
 But you clipped my wings
 Along time ago

So I will walk south

And find my heart and soul

The wind blows me now
 North and south

And I’d fly south

But you clipped my wings

Along time ago

So I will walk south

And find my heart and soul
